About Me
Hi!
My name is Winston and I love learning about the science and data analysis strategies used in agricultural research.
I first took an interest to agriculture when I was attending the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I was initially majoring in human nutrition. In one of my introductory-level nutrition courses, we were learning about the controversy related to practices implemented in conventional agricultural systems. This interested me more than nutrition so I started searching for schools that offered a degree related to agriculture.
My current interests include precision agriculture, data analysis w/agricultural datasets (R Studio, Python, Excel), and agrochemical product development.
A “fun fact” about me is that I love going fishing when possible.
